Before we arrive
- Wash bedsheets, pillow covers and curtains in hot water and dry them in the sun
- Empty bedside drawers and keep the contents sealed in bags
- Pull the bed a little away from the wall
- Don't move mattresses or furniture to other rooms. It spreads the bugs
After the treatment
- Keep sleeping in your bed so the bugs come out and contact the treatment
- Don't throw away your mattress before asking us. Most can be treated
- Vacuum mattress seams and floor edges regularly and empty the bag outside

Common questions about bed bug control
Why do I need two visits?
Eggs are much harder to kill than adult bugs. The second visit, usually about two weeks later, catches the young bugs that hatch after the first treatment, before they are old enough to lay eggs of their own.
Can I sleep in the room after the treatment?
Yes, once the treated surfaces are dry. Your technician will tell you how long to wait, which is usually a few hours.
Do you treat hotels and hostels?
